Nancy M. Lane, MA, President 

A working executive with over 30 years experience, Ms. Lane has managed teams of consultants engaged in assisting governmental and private organizations. Experience with health care strategic and operational planning, prevention and care management, and market research across the healthcare delivery system continuum and emerging areas enables her to communicate with providers, healthcare administrators, research staff, IT experts, and architects. An experienced facilitator, she has worked with stakeholders at all levels of health care delivery to define core objectives, align incentives and establish achievable timelines and work assignments. Ms. Lane has led teams to find and set priorities. She has provided financial and management program supervision and multi-year government contracts valued in excess of $1 million.

 

Manfred Wolters, AIA, NCARB, Facility Planning

A design professional with over 40 years of experience in programming, planning, design and management for healthcare projects including academic health science centers, clinical and research laboratories, medical centers, hospitals, diagnostic treatment centers, ambulatory surgery centers, general and specialty clinics, medical office buildings, wellness centers and retirement complexes. Mr. Wolters possesses a specialized knowledge in the analysis of operational, financial and reimbursement conditions for the healthcare industry. He has extensive familiarity with public and private sector influences on the delivery of health care services, medical education, and research. His projects are recognized for creative planning, long-term function, and flexibility throughout the United States and Canada. He has a record of On Time and On Schedule projects with a total value of completed projects in excess of $3 Billion in un-escalated dollars.

 

Nicholas Balagurchik, Jr., FACHE, Strategic Planning

Mr. Balagurchik is a visionary Healthcare Executive known for developing and implementing strategic plans that achieve operational excellence. Systems thinker who thrives on challenges and innovation in health care settings, and builds cultures that achieve a high standard of performance; and translating organizational goals into meaningful services for patients and the community. Forward-thinking healthcare leader recognized for initiating growth strategies that drive strategic capital projects and operational plans. Richard E. Sawyer, Facilty Flow Resource

Mr. Sawyer has been a hospital manager and consultant to hospitals throughout a career of more than 40 years. His work as a consultant has covered a full range of institutions from very large and complex academic medical centers to community hospitals and medical group practices. He has led and had major roles in projects involving major facility master planning, facility programming and design, operations and management, and strategic planning. Some of his projects have involved all of those disciplines as part of a single consulting assignment. A graduate of the Columbia University School of Public Health with an M.S. degree in Hospital Administration, Mr. Sawyer subsequently held management positions at the American University Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon and Frankford Hospital in Philadelphia before becoming a consultant. He entered consulting as a full-time occupation in 1967, working for other consultants and his own company before joining Hamilton Associates (now the healthcare group of Kurt Salmon Associates, Inc.), as a principal, in 1975. Since 1991, he has been associated with PDA for specific multiple projects.
